A private team building day that runs from the afternoon into the evening — a creative competition, a restaurant dinner, and live musicians playing a setlist your team chose.
Most away days lose the room in the gap between the activity and the dinner — and the connection made in the afternoon goes with it. This has no gap. Same building, same theme, same people, from the first lump of clay to the last song.
Act one · Afternoon
Teams, clay and a drink in hand. You give us the theme — a launch, a value, a milestone — and we build a sculpting competition around it, with a host running the clock and judges at the end.
Nobody is any good at clay, which is exactly why it works as team building. Everyone starts level, the usual hierarchy goes out of the window, and you spend two hours watching people who don’t normally work together solve something in front of you.
Act two · Early evening
Aprons off and straight through to a private dining room. A proper restaurant — chef-led, a menu built with the kitchen for your group, wine paired to it.
No travelling between venues, no one slipping off home in between. The room turns over and dinner begins — with people sitting next to whoever they just spent the afternoon competing against.
Act three · Night
The lights go down and a trio plays among thousands of candles — violin, saxophone and piano, arranged bespoke for a setlist your team chose beforehand.
Not a covers band in a corner. It’s the reason the room is still full at the end of the night rather than half-empty by nine.
This is the part most corporate days get wrong. A hotel function room with a set menu is not a night out, and your team can tell the difference.
We work with restaurants across the UK and Europe with private dining rooms big enough to host a competition in the afternoon and a concert after dinner. Rooftops, converted warehouses, hotel restaurants with a proper kitchen behind them.
A launch, a merger, a value you’re trying to land, or something as simple as connectivity — GSMA gave us one word and the whole day was built from it. Whatever the theme, it runs through what people make, what they eat and what they hear.
“It was so nicely organised, and thank you for your support throughout the session — especially with my sculpture.”
